I was horrified as well. But im reliving my childhood horror self. I remember seeing all the bodies in the cave. And I was afaid to look up bc I thought it would be climbing upside down after me bc I knew about it.

The director molested a young girl, so the protest stopped the worldwide screening of the movie. I'd say hang the director instead and release the movie.
