Do you ever get jealous of other people's relationship with their parents?

Not really. I'm more jealous of the platonic relationships people have.

Yes and no.

My father was an AMAZING role model, he taught me respect, integrity, how to be a good father and husband.

Now the negative....He was not as good of a friend in that we did not throw football / Baseball etc. back and forth, or have many common interests.

That being said I was an active kid with many friends that I spent time with so I would have to say that there is equal blame to share as I did not spend time with him as well as a friend.

No, I accepted that I'm born into shit family and I got over it. My only responsibility is to make sure I'm a better mother to my children.

No I don't get jealous. I just miss them because they both are gone, mom a few months ago.
