Whats the difference between a diploma and a certificate, Which one is better?

Paschar · 70-79, M
A diploma = 7 years of study from the 7th to the 12th grade ( The basics )
a certificate = a 10 year apprenticeship program , Journeyman = a skilled worker who has successfully completed an official apprenticeship qualification in a building trade or craft. They are considered competent and authorized to work in that field as a fully qualified employee.

In the UK they work in the following order
Associates
bachelor
Masters
Doctoral
Professional

Degrees vary depending on field of study and whether they are accredited to a professional body upon passing.
They both seem to be as useful as toilet paper nowadays.
@IstillmissEP Hey my doctorate in foreign puppetry is going to take me places!

Depends on your career goals.

Want to be an IT technician? You don't ever need to get a diploma.

Certificate certifies you to do ONE thing. A diploma/degree gives you a range of things you can do.

diplomas are bragging rights, certificates you can actually do shit with
