Where were you 16 years ago today?

I had a doctor’s appointment. Had taken a personal day. Heard about the attack on the way home....the day was pretty surreal.

At work, gathered in a conference room, watching, wondering, and having a group prayer with 20 staff members, representing several faiths, including Islam, and those who claim no faith.

I was at work, and a co worker came with the story two plains did fly into the WTC buildings, he was laughed at, that fool with his idiot jokes....

Waiting for the train on way to work when the towers were hit

Recovering from a birthday hangover.

According to my mom, I was sitting with my dad and grandmother at an airport, waiting for her flight to come in. She actually thought it was a movie when the news report came on, but my dad told her it wasn't. Suffice it to say she ended up staying another week or so with us.

I was at home getting ready for school. I woke my parents up to let them see the news. Our school called in extra counselors and clergy. One of the pilots was a staff member's son.

Im 5 6' 16yr old boy. I like play with other boys in school and make faces

Well I didn't have a computer in those days and because of that I was more productive back then.🤔

At a halfway house in recovery from drug and alcohol abuse. It was surreal.

I was driving to work when I heard the news on the radio.

I was in New York, helping to put video from the Towers on the Evening News. Was stuck there overnight. I was terrified.
