If someone ignores you for weeks, even when you tell them good news, they don't like you, right? Friends don't ignore you, do they?

SW-User Best Comment
That is no friend.

I had one like that. Cut him loose.

IMHO people make time for those they value. If someone doesn't text you back for weeks either their phone is dead, they are in a coma, they are going through something awful or just plain ghosting you.
If it's a coma, you'd probably know it from social media or other friends. If it's about going through something, it's still expected to text back and say so.
The smart money is on you're being ghosted. If it's that, you may hear back at some point but I doubt you'd get a good answer explaining the silence.
Sorry you're going through this, tootsie roll. It hurts. ❤️

I can see wanting to be told directly unless they're too sick to operate a phone. Having said that, you're probably not being hated, but at least not a top priority. I say give it time. Cream rises to the top. If they value you as a friend, you'll hear something eventually.

Or at the very least you aren't at the top or nowhere near the top of their priority list & it sucks because we want to feel cared & that sense of belonging with those we really care about so to feel neglected it's just not the best feeling in the world ....
Well there are close friends, casual friends as so on. Assuming they are not dealing with serious issues that they may not have shared with you; it may seem that they may not be as close a friend as you hoped for....

Sometimes it happens but the re-establishment of contact is all it takes for the goodness to resume.
shaelan · 41-45, M
@SW-User That's unfortunate. 🤗 Still there are those of us who actually value and cherish the connections formed here.

@shaelan Thank you shaelan. You're a dear!!!

What happens when that friend you refer to has been legitimately ill. And that friend has been there time and time while you curse them block them report them call them names insult them yet still try to help you and you walk off. Maybe that friend is tired of being a personal yoyo treated like crap and the friend you think you are needs to reevaluate how you treat your friends. Push folks hard enough they go away it's then when they're gone you want them back.
Steveswife7665 · 46-50, F
Not. You got it in your thick ass head he hates you. He's been sick he's still not ok. He's not talking to a lot of people you ain't the only one. Not attacking you sandy just pointed out you want a reply conversation from someone you tell fuck off brian is your replacement how long does one take shit before giving it back. Do remember what the end of august was the anniversary of do you?

They shouldn't, but something could be happening in their life
vader2112 · 46-50, M
@JRVanguard This is the only reason. Even so, friends should know they can reach out to you for support.

Well... sometimes I go into a "period of non-communication."

People relying on electronic means to stay in touch ought not be too quick to judge.

There are some people that have no sense of decency that can and in my experience, interfere with it.
