I'm in the Panhandle. We'll be staying no matter what.

@CopperCicada Same here and if it takes a wider turn, I'm history!~ My ex land lady actually told me I would have to ride it out here in this place that couldn't take a strong thunderstorm much less a strong hurricane!
@CopperCicada That's weird. I don't block anyone ever for any reason. You show up fine.
probably stay

If the storm obeys the weather forecasters the panhandle will be fine.
@DuchessOfMapleSyrup The latest models keep getting further away from the panhandle and even central Florida. 👍🏽

Friends of mine left Naples today because of the threat of the storm. They took valuables, lowered the hurricane shutters, and headed north. I think it's a good idea to get out ahead of this storm as it's huge.

We are staying, I think. Looks like it won't hit us too bad but that could change. I'm nervous about waiting too long and getting stuck in traffic. But we have plenty of food and water and gas so as long as it's not hitting us too hard we will stay.

If it goes up the peninsula as predicted and I'm in the northwest quadrant. It's just gonna be dry an breezy, If it somehow pushes past the keys into the gulf a whole new dynamic kicks in, and I might be saying good bye for a while or longer.
