How do you deal with overly nosey people?

I tend to just ignore nosey questions. Only once have I been forced to respond to why I was ignoring the questions. I said something to the effect of well, I was hoping to avoid embarrassing you for being so nosy. Yep, a real conversation stopper. But they should not have been nosy.

I give them super short, vague answers. It frustrates them like crazy and it amuses me.

just say you'd rather not talk about that. their curiosity will slowly kill them and you will have your revenge

I'm good at pretending I didn't hear them, or just ignoring them altogether.

I tell them that they are too nosey...they get mad and don't bother me anymore

Shove their noses up their asses.
