My heart goes out to yuo and others in and around Harvey and such- It may intensify I hear and become hurricane again if it hits the gulf and gets warm water form it.

I was without power and (and would have been water as well l but we had a pump) for 7 days back in 1974 during on East Coast Blizzard. I was ion my late teens and we survived pretty easily .

We had an old coal stove we cooked on. We also had a old coal pot belly stove we used for heat. We were fortunate. The light form those two we read by. Restrooms issues were never as issue.

I do hope you get through this without too much more happening.

Hasn't rained much here, storms literally part and go around my house all the time 😒 But I was watching those storms all day they didn't seem to move much! Just kinda swirled around it was weird.
