If a person said they created a Perpetual Motion Machine... How long do you think they would stay alive?

The World is designed on fossil fuels for a work force

They would be safe. No one would believe it.

@GJOFJ3 Ok.. just for argument sake... they showed a working model
GJOFJ3 · 61-69, M
@MikefromEP Exxon would pay a big price for it and we would never see it again
MikefromEP · 51-55, M
@GJOFJ3 That is about what I figure too
Hypothetically, I think it would be embraced. Petroleum will always be needed.

@jetpack But the resources have been shown that the tank will eventually run out. Changes need to be found
@MikefromEP that will be a significant hurdle for humanity. Every aspect of our lives has petroleum in it. Our food is fertilized with it, harvested and packaged with it. Our clothes....everything. some biological substitute for hydrocarbons will need to be found and made affordable to market.

@jetpack The theory of Peak Oil is based on all of this. God help us
GoodoldBob · 61-69, M
He would be perfectly safe. Unlike some, the oil company executives all PASSED 7th grade science class
MikefromEP · 51-55, M
@GoodoldBob But the executives do not want to be on unemployment
GoodoldBob · 61-69, M
@MikefromEP Um .. do you happen to still have your 7th grad science book? Did you ever open it? Even once?
MikefromEP · 51-55, M
@GoodoldBob Isn't that the book where they show you can lift an ice cube with a string dropped on top of it? 🤔
