Is this how parents feel?

Looking at my little brother grow up and face the same things I did kind of makes me feel like I should be there for him all the time so he cab have someone to answer the questions that I had to figure out myself

I think so. I'm not an actual parent but I feel that way about my nephews and nieces.
I think it's the way good people feel about the people they love.

No is how brothers feel. You cannot be there all of the time but let him know you will be when it matters and then be there.
