If EP were to just suddenly open again, what would happen to SW?

It would give us an alternative place to go to after we write our posts announcing our dramatic exit. We could just go back and forth between sites every couple months. "Goodbye cruel SW.......add me on EP."

@Fernie EP and SW are identical. The only difference is ep had a lot more people. This site is rubbish in comparison

@ReallyTallDwarf I was there for 8 years...I know the difference between the two sites...they are very similar but certainly NOT identical. EP probably won't happen again.

No I never go back in life and I don't see the point, ep was better at feeds for your friends and your groups, much better, but it was terrible in so many other ways.

I will not give a damn shit about EP because it abandoned us suddenly while SW gave us the new virtual home.
@Simplegirlstory They had no say in the matter- other that they should have ran the site in accordance with their TOS and community guidelines- and they did not.
Microsoft sent them a 60 day cease notice- Meaning you have 60 days to shut the place down as you have lost your certification to run a site such as this. Because MS finds you in violation of your own TOS. Many times over.
Kanjoya, who by then owned EP had egg on their face and the board of directors were looking for a way out- to save face. Who do you think found and placed the story of the murder tied to EP? That was a plant, and a true one, by the board. And it left one to assume it was shut down by the feds for an investigation.
They did not abandon us- but they can NEVER be again. Ever.
And it is the fault of those who ran it. They created a second app (not the 2009 confessions app-that was fine) they could not control and it ruined the site.
They were forced to close or it would have gone public why MS shut down a site with 17 million members.
It why SW , in the legal section tells folks it is no was associated with EP- It cannot be.

I absolutely hated all the censorship there but it still was way better for sharing actual experiences. So yeah, I'd probably go back.
