Which is better when it comes to food?

I've never had prison food but have read it is low-quality and prisons get food that has been recalled including meats and use it in the meals. Restaurants can vary in their food, but there's the cost plus no control over specific ingredients and seasonings usually and if a worker is careless and violates health code rules it could sicken people.
