Something about this area, if there's a disaster people will help each other out...overwhelmed by what people do to help one another when they are in their hour of need. And when there's no disaster people will help out in charities in a multitude of ways....there's a tiny house village for the homeless nearby that was built with donations that were acquired quickly, and each tiny home adopted by various churches and fully furnished including cleaning and hygiene items.

@Ishtar yes and helping these people get back on their feet with jobs too, the village is located within walking distance to a lot of stores so the people should be able to find some kind of work, even if it's part-time maybe get some food stamps and be able to survive well with their dignity intact. There's also a food kitchen in the village for lunches and restaurants donate extras so they can have something to take home for other meals...they have one year limit to get their living situation straightened out and find a permanent place to stay.
