I don't know if this is an official name, but I'd call it a 45 adapter.

@SWisGoingWoke What did he say, something about voltage, I think? I kinda remember, now that you mention it. Thanks.
@eversearching Yup, he was pretending to be remodeling the house when his wife's boss came over, and the boss asked if he was running new electrical service, specifically 220...which is a valid Q.

M.Keaton replied, "yeah, 220, 230, 240, whatever it takes."

Yeah, cool. I'm a retired electrician. I'm surprised I didn't remember that right away. Thanks.

That is a spindle adapter. You use it on a 45 rpm record.

Not sure what its called but it was a spacer for playing the old 45's ( records) on a turn table.

I think it was actually called a "45 adapter".
For those too young, 45 rpm vinyl records had a larger whole in the center and inserting these allowed them to be played on a turntable which also played 33 and 78 rpm records.
why did the picture disappear?
It's officially referred to as a "bedonkadonk"
eversearching · 61-69, M
@SWisGoingWoke I believe the image that enters my mind when bedonkadonk is mentioned is quite different than this picture. No offense intended.
@eversearching Well, perhaps, but with NKorea loading up a nuke rocket, it's time for all good words to come to the rescue of their country.
