I mean why not?

I mean really. Who doesn't like being happy? I spent a lot of my life allowing myself to be consumed by depression self loathing. Much of it I found out was caused by health issues that I was born with as well as poor diet. Having many bad experiences in life also didn't help. However, that doesn't mean it's all over. Not even close. For me I first had to figure out what it was I really wanted in life and then doing everything within my power to obtain it regardless of how impossible it seemed one small step at a time. I made countless mistakes, some of which cost me dearly and had many breakdowns along the way but every time I would build myself back up better stronger than I ever was before. I am always in the process of rebuilding myself. That's the only way to move forward when you feel the world you live in stands against you. First you focus on what you really want out of life, then your health, then you focus on improving your mental state. If you have others willing to help you along the way then even better. Just don't don't expect others to carry your burdens for you and never stop trying to improve either. It's a lifelong journey of improvement. Happiness may possibly come easier to some than others but if you don't give up as things really can better.
