@GlitterBug Ouch! Yeah. I've absolutely been there. You've got the right attitude. Just keep at it and you'll learn to regulate the oil temp as you need. Particularly if you're on an electric cook top you need to account for the fact the elements take a long time to heat up and down and the oil follows behind.

@CountScrofula Gas is so much better. We had electric for years and you've got to raise the heat slowly on the hob and the oven just dried things out... 😒
