I Am Hot Headed

I am so hot tempered. I literally got into a verbal spat and was holding on by a last thread of self-control to not just tear off a limb or something like you don't come into my house and disrespect something I hold dear and continue taunting me and not expect me to be ready to throw punches!! I am so ready to just jump and kick and throw punches.

I know that feeling. One of my daughters, brought over a friend. First time in my home, she looked at a piece of macrame that a dear friend had made, and stated

"That is the tackiest piece of shit I've ever seen!"

That was the last time she was allowed in my home. The first and last.

@Serenitree if she wasn't your daughters age I'd tell you to slap the bint but obviously at a certain point we all have to hold our composure.

@silver1sil Yeah. It was twenty years or so ago. They were both in their twenties. I just told her to leave and told my daughter to never bring her back. As they were leaving, I yelled after my daughter...."Don't you dare apologize to her about my kicking her out".

@Experienced33 if I'm getting to a point where I'm on the last strand then yes. I'm hot headed but even then I usually keep my composure up to a certain point and vent or release the anger at another point
