What if religion was the right answer to all modern problems ? [Spirituality & Religion]

I mean with all our problems maybe we humans don't really know what's good for us and we were created to relay on a higher power naturally.
People created religion, which in turn, created division and separation. God stands for unity, love, respect, honor. If we want to get back on track, of course, we can have our relationship with Him, but in doing so, we can remember His wise words and sacrifices. People are so hung up on materialism and getting ahead that they sacrifice family, friends, and values that matter. How we treat others, does matter. What we contribute in life, does matter. If we want more meaning and purpose in our lives, we have to start from within us and determine what really matters to us, and if that means changing our priorities or other needed adjustments, then we will find a way to make it happen. We will start seeing ourselves and others in a more clear realistic way. We will focus on bringing honor to God through our own actions. We will think before we talk or act. We will not attack others because they are different or strange to us. We are all God's children. He's the judge. All we have to do is live well and work towards the good of ourselves and those around us.

We were created.
Man could not possibly create a Living God.
The Laws would help guide us in this design of creation that
we don't have a clue about.

Q..What's better than having to ask someone to leave?
A..Not having to ask someone to leave.

Two thousand years ago l would have been crucified.
Twelve hundred years ago l would have been beheaded.
Eight hundred years ago l would have been burned at the stake.
Three hundred years ago l would have been satirised.
Today l would be beheaded.
But he just blocked me five minutes ago.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Even if not religion, faith in something is important.

Agreed !

Given the human misery religion has created , I hardly think it has the answer to anything

What if Religion is the root cause of human problems?

It is... well certainly for all the war and suffering it causes.

Nobody can agree which make believe deity is the true omnipotent being to follow.

Hey...we are "jousting".....like on EP!

I think humans are created to follow. I mean think about it, you don't get to choose your parents or your personality or looks (those are the aspects that will shape your life) You're just thrown to this life. You might be born in central Africa and die after 1 week or you might be born to a royal family...we are followers by nature of what life brings to us.

Religion is not required especially not in the form that we see it.

well you'd think that after such a long time politicians should have come to the same conclusion as you :=0
