Do you believe in hell? [Spirituality & Religion]

So many people today don't believe in a literal place called Hell that burns with fire and brimstone (Revelation 21:8), where all who die in their sins without Jesus Christ go to be punished for all eternity.

No. I also don’t believe in heaven, Narnia, middle earth, neverland, or Canada.

@CakeByTheOcean canada is a myth really.
@CakeByTheOcean I believe in Narnia, middle earth and Neverland...Canada, nah. Heaven; is to be in the Presence of God; in body or out; to NOT be separated in spirit.

@MsAlaineEYes As it was explained to us in theology, yes. Catholics believe hell isn't an actual place but rather living in the dark cold abyss caused by the absence of God's light. That's the theory, anyway.
@Graylight So much for God having omnipresence.

@canusernamebemyusername Oh wow. Can He choose not to be present while his nature is being present everywhere? Or does he just keep his back turned toward you at all times?

Interesting philosophical question.
@Graylight I don't know. But I only hear the omnipresence doctrine in certain places among certain people. Most agree on the omnipotence, omniscience and omnibenevolence but only some people add the omnipresence as well. Which leads you to have to believe he is in hell too (I mean it was his creation after all) or modify one of his four God traits. Which if you did would make him not a God to some people. It is an interesting idea. Lol
