I think this is a bit of a logical failure if you're seeing "paleontologists find some dinosaurs that died in a flood" and concluding "This shows the bible is scientifically accurate about a global flood".
The conclusion doesn't follow logically from the premise.
But perhaps you were just having a little joke😉

@Carazaa
Other way round. Biblical literalists work overtime to create rescue device after rescue device as the evidence stacks up against them.
Case in point, since you appear to be genuinely affirming this conclusion could you please walk me through the logic you applied?
How does the fact that some dinosaurs died in a flood (as many animals do and have done throughout history) show that dinosaurs died in a world wide flood?

@Carazaa
Two things:
1) The current consensus is that a catastrophic asteroid impact in what is now the yucatan peninsula is still the leading cause of the KT extinction. Please do link me a source if i am wrong about that.
2) I did ask you a direct question there: How does the fact that some dinosaurs died in a flood (as many animals do and have done throughout history) show that dinosaurs died in a world wide flood?

@Pikachu I was hoping you forgot your question, haha 😊 well its just an interesting detail confirming a flood. You keep sying there wasn't a global flood but you have no evidence of that whatsoever. Most big floods happened all over the world about 4000 years ago. Ofcourse there are floods every year somewhere but ALL the dinos died why? by that flood ofcourse.
@Carazaa
I was hoping you forgot your question,
Well sorry, but i didn't. So how do you get from an interesting detail confirming ONE flood to a global flood?
Do you have an answer for that or are you still hoping i'll forget?
You keep sying there wasn't a global flood but you have no evidence of that whatsoever
Actually all mainstream geology says that there was not a global flood.
So does paleontology.
So does archaeology.
Only a tiny minority of theists operating with motivated reasoning attempt (inexpertly) to deny this consensus.
I know that you and i have spoken at length about the fact that the fossil record is totally at odds with a global flood and when i've shown you videos detailing the reasons why a global flood is impossible your only response was that the presenters were young and rude without responding to any of the information.
So let's not have any of this "no evidence" business.
Most big floods happened all over the world about 4000 years ago.
Source? Not that there have been a couple floods at that time but that, as you say, most big floods happened then.
but ALL the dinos died why?
Because the impact created a climate disaster. The oceans became acidic, ash clouded the sky and killed off the vegetation which starved the herbivores which eventually starved the carnivores. Only smaller animals which required fewer resources and had better metabolic control were able to survive.

@Pikachu Don't change the story, the videos were Christian scientists (Dr. Geaorgia)and proof of the flood and a young earth, and some kids mocking that 🙄 not really convincing!
Come on man, acidic oceans 😂
I will gladly give you some proof of huge floods all over the world at the time of Noah!

@Carazaa
Dr Georgia the geneticist is your source for geology? Ad thanks for confirming that you can only attack the age and what you felt was the tone of the presenters and not their arguments.
Another logical fallacy known as ad hominem.
Come on man, acidic oceans
...um....yeah. That's a a thing that's happening in parts of the ocean today as well. You understand what pH is, right? It doesn't mean the oceans are acid as in burn your skin off, it means they're becoming more acidic and inhospitable to life.
This is really undermining any confidence i have that you have even marginally familiarized yourself with the subject matter...
Did you read the title?
Did you read only the title? Dangerous.
You're hearing what you want to hear but even Ballard isn't claiming what you say:
"It probably was a bad day," Ballard said. "At some magic moment, it broke through and flooded this place violently, and a lot of real estate, 150,000 square kilometers of land, went under."
Is the earth 150,000 square km? No, it's over 500 million.
But i think we've already dealt with the validity of your OP.
You made the claim that some dinosaurs dying in a flood is proof that the global flood of the bible is scientifically accurate but you ALSO admit that you cannot logically connect the dots between your premise and your conclusion.
My work is done.
I know you value logic so remember to keep an eye on it and not be blinded by motivated reasoning.
No worries, it happens to all of us.

Really? Let’s discuss the evidence for that, shall we?
While we’re at it let’s discuss the evidence for your flood claim.
In fact. let’s spend some time on this and really get into detail

@Carazaa I assume you’re joking... is that right?
It’s unusual for you to do so, but it’s good to see you also have a light-hearted approach to creationist piffle.
