If he doesn't listen to sinners how can he forgive their prayers when they pray for forgiveness for their sins.

@Entwistle God says "I choose you, you do not chose me"

@Carazaa So then we have no choice whether we are saved or not. Free Will to worship him means nothing then? Our free will to pray to be born again is pointless?

@Emosaur They certainly are.
Here s another thing..If a Christian blocks a person from replying or deletes that person's comments are they denying that person's God given free will to say what they want to say?
CestManan · 46-50, F
@Entwistle Some so-called christians do believe that only a select few are chosen or eligible for salvation.

Kind of like how some cliques, clubs, groups, whatever are welcoming of only certain people.

That is not the way God operates. If someone wants to be saved, forgiven, he will grant it.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@CestManan Yet some other Christian says God chooses us,we don't choose God. So which is it?
Carazaa · F
@Entwistle God hears prayers of the Godly if they are obedient and have faith. No one knows why some are saved and some aren't. I think my grandmas prayers and my great grandpas prayers and me reading the Bible and me begging God for answers who he is and to know him have something to do with my salvation. I don't know exactly.

Good point. They're trying to overrule their god. I wonder what he would think of that if he existed.

We do have a choice. Praying for selfish ambitions is sin, praying to be forgiven is righteousness. When a person prays to be forgiven of sin and open their heart to Jesus, God sees them as a righteous person and answers their prayer.

@GodSpeed63 So true!🙏

@NortiusMaximus Furthermore, they are passing judgment on non believers, which their "god" tells them [c=#BF0000]not [/c]to do, otherwise they themselves will be judged harshly.
Carazaa · F
@jackieash I try hard to love all people regardless of religion or their practices, but I have to tell people what God says. He asks us to witness the hope in us, so I do that with joy even if people are cursing me.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@GodSpeed63 So why did he bother creating the people who will be sinners in the first place? The people he as an omniscient being already knew..before he created them..wouldn't worship him.

Love.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@GodSpeed63 He loves those people so much he will send them to Hell?
ShadowDancer · 41-45, M
@Entwistle There is no 'Hell' as many have been taught to believe. Jesus as Saviour will save everyone. That's 100% no exceptions. There are multiple scriptures that state this. Don't let anyone convince you otherwise. Now, watch as everyone tells me how wrong I am.
Carazaa · F
@ShadowDancer I have studied the Bible carefully for 40 years daily. What are you talking about? Please do not listen to apostate churches!! Give me the verses please that you are thinking about?
ShadowDancer · 41-45, M
@Carazaa This is what I am talking about. Deep breath, here we go...!

If there is no hell, then where did Satan and his demons go to?

Daniel 12:1-2

"At that time shall arise Michael, the great prince who has charge of your people. And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time. But at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone whose name shall be found written in the book. And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt."

@Carazaa The Lake of Fire is not tangible or material or literal. It is an invisible power, the Lake of Fire is Spiritual. https://bible-truths.com/lake5.html.
There is no "for ever and ever." It should read "for the eons of the eons", or even "ages of the ages". I.e they are all specific lengths of time with beginning and end.
