Lets be real. The conversion of kings was in nearly all cases political from the original conversion to Catholicism and later to Lutheranism. We are talking about a period where opposing the church was a good way to lose your kingdom and end up sadistically murdered. Conversion by coersion or violence is not exactly impressive.

@Carazaa I will grant you my ancestors invaded southern France before they converted but that hardly changed after conversion. If anything it just changed the justification for invasions.
