Remember that God is no liar. He is incapable of lying or sinning. Therefore, He is trustworthy in keeping His Word and promises. He always has our best interest at heart. He's never out to hurt us, but to bless us and help us in any way He can. He loves us like no other can. No one will ever love us more, than Jesus does.

@LadyGrace So why was by benefit money late?

@Rosejilly
So why was by benefit money late?
So, why are you blaming God?

Johnblackthorn · 56-60, M
By accepting reality and stop living in a dream world.

@Entwistle
What you say is all the proof anyone needs.
It's really funny, the way he asks for proof of what he proves very well by himself.
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@Sharon I almost feel embarrassed for him.
Sharon · F
@Entwistle I used to but he does it to himself. :(
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
Once they see the absurdity of a God, they will never be able to unsee it!!
@GodSpeed63

I think if the answer was "yes" then you would have been only too happy to say so.
I think that since you're avoiding answer a straight question with a straight answer that the answer is self-evidently a hard "NOPE".

But feel free to correct me on that.

Did they or didn't they?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Pikachu
I think if the answer was "yes" then you would have been only too happy to say so.
I'm only too happy that you're using your brains for once. You're thinking for yourself for a change. Amen.
@GodSpeed63

lol so the answer was "no". Wouldn't it have been more honest and faster to simply say that in the first place?😉
spjennifer · 56-60, T
It's interesting to watch this man talk about "evidence" and "reasonable doubt" because there is no evidence that Jesus actually existed so it is perfectly reasonable for someone to have doubts. So why does having doubts make me an evil sinner in the eyes of some? I've been told by Catholic priests that I'm going to hell because I'm not a Catholic, told by Baptist ministers that I was going to hell because I doubted the existence of Jesus. Seems to me the only consistent belief here is that I'm going to hell, so might just as well accept it, right?

@Carazaa
Where are all the witnesses to Odin?
Most are with Him in Valhalla of course but there are some still living. Where are all the witnesses to your god?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
Most are with Him in Valhalla of course but there are some still living. Where are all the witnesses to your god?
Won't wash.
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63
Won't wash.
Really? Explain why. From a purely impartial, objective POV, how does it differ from what you say about your god?
Allelse · 36-40, M
They should stop being Christians.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@GodSpeed63 Prove it.
Sharon · F
@Allelse He's never even tried to prove any of his claims in all the time he's been here.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@Sharon Oh I know, he's just a demented old fart.
Carazaa · F
When God has answered my prayers, and I have trusted in the promises of Gods word and he helps me every time, why should I doubt? I trust God with my life. He has my back. I don't fear anything.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@MarmeeMarch This stuff really goes above your head doesn't it? Poor old Vegemite, no wonder you're religious.
@Allelse Right - so you wont answer my question. OK - yea above my head.
Allelse · 36-40, M
@MarmeeMarch I mean if you're going to insist on being religious Vegemite, cant you at least be a Buddhist?

Pray, because doubts will always occur. How does one know they're worthy, without tests?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@SW-User
Pray
Amen, sister, amen.
kodiac · 22-25, M
If you're a true believer how can there be doubt? Seems it's not as cut and dried as you pretend it is
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63 It washes whiter than white. You just refuse to see it.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
It washes whiter than white.
You missed a lot of spots, Sharon, try again.
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63 You need to get your eyes checked.
GerOttman · 61-69, M
Why do all these TV/YouTube preacher dudes have that crazy eyed look? I guess they think it looks sincere, but it really looks like they are trying some kind of remote hypnosis. "Your Jedi mind trick have no effect on me!"
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@spjennifer So if Jesus forgives all your sins, does that mean you can go out and do a bunch of new sins so you can get forgiven again later? Or do you need to be forgiven over and over for the same sins..?
spjennifer · 56-60, T
@GerOttman I was being facetious above. Sorry but you're asking the wrong person, while I was raised a Christian, I long ago abandoned that and was branded as a heretic for all the reasonable questions I had, like you ask here. Based on what I remember, you needed to be constantly forgiven as Man is a sinner, even once someone is saved, they continue to sin in the eyes of God so they needed to be forgiven over and over. Perhaps someone with better knowledge than mine can answer your question though?
GerOttman · 61-69, M
@spjennifer Sounds right to me from that perspective. I did 12 years of catholic school myself. Just seemed an interesting question.

@Sharon @newjaninev2 At least he's stopped just parroting answers. For the time being, anyway.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Bushranger Oh, he’ll lie low for a day or two, and then put the needle back in the same old groove
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@newjaninev2 He's certainly predictable.
jackieash · 26-30
This is my god....
Carazaa · F
@jackieash Ive told you how to have your prayers answered so now you know!
jackieash · 26-30
How do you know bubble wrap doesn't?

I usually ask myself why I am doubting and then go to the Word and find the solution.
kodiac · 22-25, M
Why is my question? Why create this elaborate system of good and evil just to test the faith of something so puny as humans? Could it be because your god can't exist without man? In one sentence you say god didn't create satan ,in the next you say he did.Why does logic apply to everything in the world except religion?Fact is your god can not exist without man.

It's easy to have doubts about God.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@LeopoldBloom
It’s how it looks to me.
Why would I care how your 'it' looks at me? I care only how my Father in Heaven sees me.
@GodSpeed63 And yet you keep responding to me.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@LeopoldBloom
And yet you keep responding to me.
You'd rather I didn't respond to you?
RedBaron · M
However they like. Nobody should dictate that for anyone else.
RedBaron · M
@GodSpeed63 Of course. How can you know anyone wants help from you if they don't ask? Otherwise, you're just a busybody sticking your nose in other people's business. Don't be obtuse.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@RedBaron
Of course.
Read the parable of the good Samaritan.
Sharon · F
@RedBaron
Has anyone asked for your help?
I bet christians would soon object if Satanists went around trying to help people find their way back to Satan. Actually I bet most practising christians would object to any other religious group (even other christians sects) proselytizing as they do.
Carazaa · F
I suggest that if anyone is in doubt of God then read your Bible, and do what it says and then see how God will bless you.
TheWildEcho · 56-60, M
@Sharon why would I slag off others beliefs, I'm simply interested in what you believe!
Sharon · F
@TheWildEcho
why would I slag off others beliefs,
I didn't say you did, I just pointed out that christians often do disparage others' beliefs.
I'm simply interested in what you believe!
I thought I'd made that clear.
TheWildEcho · 56-60, M
And atheists regularly disparage our beliefs. I'm a positive person and don't see the point@Sharon
Adstar · 56-60, M
I have no doubts about the LORD, the God of Abraham..

I do have doubts about myself.. I know i am human..
romell · 51-55, M
wow didnt know doubts only arise if you are a christian?
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63 If you actually bothered to read what you try to dismiss out of hand, you'd know that the "it" in my comment referred to @newjaninev2's point, not your made up yahweh thing.

Keep making a fool of yourself, it gives us all a good laugh.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@Sharon
If you actually bothered to read what you try to dismiss out of hand, you'd know that the "it" in my comment referred to @newjaninev2's point, not your made up yahweh thing.
If you actually bothered to get to work on supporting your claims, Sharon, a lot of our conversations could've been avoided. Your 'yahweh thing' is not my God.
Sharon · F
@GodSpeed63 Still waiting for you to offer some shred of evidence to support your ridiculous claims.
'yahweh thing' is not my God.
Why do you keep banging on about it then, calling it your "father in heaven"?
Virgo94 · 26-30, F
[c=#008099]Pray? 🤷🏽‍♀️[/c]
Even true believers have doubts. I myself do. 😯 Tis human nature.
Carazaa · F
@Snowvixen I did when I was young. But if you trust everything you have and give it all to Jesus, he will answer all your prayers, and after years of that he will give you no doubt at all he is real and will take care of you!
