Why do christians pray? [Spirituality & Religion]

@GerOttman I'm a Christian but I doubt the pope is. I have never done anything any pope said to do simply because he was the pope. I'm Christian not catholic. This pope is neither catholic or Christian so I have no idea why anyone would listen to what he has to say.

@hippyjoe1955 The pope is infallible in matters of faith and acts as God's direct agent here on Earth. To follow other teachings is a heresy. Heretics used to burned at the stake. I'm not sure why they did that. Global warming maybe..

@GerOttman No he is not. This clown isn't even catholic or Christian. The catholics are the only ones who believe the pope, when speaking ex cathedra is infallible. No other Christians believe that fallible man can speak infallibly unless he is speaking by the Holy Spirit.

@GerOttman No. Orthodox Christians and Coptic Christians have never agreed with the pope. He can make all the claims he wants. Nobody but his followers listen.

@GerOttman I can't tell can you? I heard that a few thousands years ago there was a mile of ice over my house. Is it warmer here now than it was then.

@GerOttman I have no idea. I hear there was an ice age. We don't have glaciers here now so I guess it is now warmer. We don't have records long enough or complete enough to even hazard a guess if it is warming or not.
