So if god cares about humanity and our salvation, why do you suppose that he only revealed himself to some ancient middle eastern people? [Spirituality & Religion]

Why wouldn't he reveal himself to the different cultures and populations across the world? After all, this was a time when the world was much larger and the global dissemination of information was not only impractical but downright impossible.

So why don't we see diverse cultures all sharing a fundamental religion that could be recognized as christianity?

If god actually wanted to save all his humans, why do it in such an objectively ineffective way?

Why give humans free will and then immediately punish them if they ever dare to use it?

Why create hell if god loves and forgives everyone?

Why create Jesus to wipe away sin when sin is just things that God doesn't like?

If God is all-powerful, then how does the devil matter at all and why was Jesus necessary?

If God is all-knowing, then how come he didn't know Adam and Eve would eat that fruit?

If God has a divine plan and all things follow that plan, why do we pray? It was already decided. It's part of the plan. So is me saying this.

The answer to all of those questions is simple: Plot holes. Every fictional story has them.

@Carazaa How is it relevant if no one claims Harry Potter is a god?
Carazaa · F
@Sharon But God claimed Jesus is Lord! So its relevant!

There's no proof your god exists that's just your opinion.

You think it was ineffective? It was not ineffective at all since people spread the news about God and the world has heard!

Back then in the time of Adam and Eve there weren’t a lot of people around! They wrote Gods words down for the world to read! God is a spirit and moves like the wind everywhere! He makes his presence known if you pay attention and are observant! God came down and visited us and there were witnesses who wrote it down, and it has been translated to every language!

And in the last few years there is radio, tv, and internet to spread the good news instantly since there are so many people now. People can repent and be saved! God wants us to spread the news and tell our personal story! He wants us to build relationships and care about people!

The Holy Spirit visits us today, in every country, and many know him. But if people rejected God even though they heard of him then they went away to their own destruction like China, Russia, North Korea all nations that pushed atheism!
But nevertheless the Gospel is still going out and when the last person has heard then Jesus is coming back to make a new heaven and a new earth! I think It’s a beautiful salvation program!

Lol don't get too excited. I also admitted it was possible that i'm just a brain in a vat
Carazaa · F
@Pikachu Are you kidding! you atheists come up with some crazy comparisons to God...It’s possible you’re a brain in a vat ? 😳 Really now? A lot more likely that there is a real Jesus than your brain is in a vat! Infact there is no likelihood of that!
@Carazaa

I think you're misunderstanding what i'm saying.
I'm not offering this as a comparison to god. I'm making the point that pretty much anything is possible including being a brain in a vat and your god actually existing even though i see no good reason to believe that either is true.

I'm of the opinion that such a character never existed, a growing number of scholars believe the evidence for such a person in the Middle East is sketchy. He never revealed himself to the world because the character at least by biblical standards doesn't exist in the first place.

That's not to say a god can or cannot exist but if it did exist, it would exist by a force and not by something invented by people 3,000 years ago.

Though I know what you're getting at and it's a good question to answer for believers who believe that he was a real person.

@SatanBurger They find more proof of the validity of the Bible every day!
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@Carazaa Confirmation bias isn't proof.
Carazaa · F
@SatanBurger exactly my point! 👍

He's revealed Himself to all mankind, but, like always, not all men receive Him as God. He came in the form of Jesus Christ and men beat Him, whipped Him, put a crown a thorns on His head, and nailed Him to a cross. After He had risen, they still wouldn't believe. Question is: When is it going to be enough evidence for you to believe?
@GodSpeed63

I don't doubt that you genuinely believe what you're saying is true.

I not only believe it but I am certain of it.
@GodSpeed63

I'm certain you are.
Poor planning. Which shows a lack of intelligence and foreknowledge.
