Will god always be with me even if I am a sinner? [Spirituality & Religion]

It's important to ask God forgiveness when we sin, but if we keep repeating the same sin over and over, is that true sorrow? When we love the Lord, we try not to repeat the same sin again. Jesus makes a way to escape from temptation. All we have to do is resist and ask the Lord to help us and he does.

As a Christian, God will [b]always[/b] be with you. He said he would never leave us nor forsake us. He cannot lie. Her is perfect. However, when we sin, we move away from God and there's that broken fellowship and sin that needs forgiveness, so the fellowship can be restored. But you never lose your salvation, as some preach. Never. When Jesus said in John 3:16, that he that believeth in me shall not perish, but shall have EVERLASTING LIFE, that's just what he meant. He keeps you forever. Every time we goof up he doesn't disown us. That's false teaching that some people preach. You didn't do anything to earn your salvation and you can't do anything to lose it. It is Jesus that keeps you secure in Him, not you. By his grace. When we sin, we want to ask the Lord for forgiveness right away, so that we can restore that fellowship and then like Jesus told the woman caught in adultery, "Go.... and sin no more."

You don't have to beg God. He'll forgive you, but what is your definition of a Christian? What makes one a Christian, in other words? That means a lot of things to different people, and some have it wrong; not according to what the Bible says we must do, in order to be saved, so that's why I ask you.

God loves his children unconditionally as long as we acknowledge our wrongs, and ask for forgiveness and try to stay away from bad behavior. God knows our hearts, he knows we makes mistakes and he does not judge us the way “man” does. God is love, seek his face always.

No Christian lives without sin..

If you continue to believe Jesus and trust in the Atonement He secured on the cross, then you shall be forgiven all your sins..

Never try to justify your sins.. Acknowledge to God that all your sins are sins and thank Him for the Atonement that He has provided through the LORD Jesus Christ to Redeem you..

Do your best to do good deeds and do your best to resist sin out of love for the truth of the LORD Jesus Christ..

Remember no one is saved because they are worthy of being saved.. Jesus saves us because we are unworthy and incapable of saving ourselves..

All glory and honor and boasting is the LORDs not to you or me..

His will be done..

If I were you it would be good to demonstrate your love and fear of him by capitalizing “God”.

Non belief is the only unforgivable sin. Everything else including murder,torture, rape, incest you name it, is forgivable. All a believing "Christian" has to do is REPENT all the awful stuff & they get a free pass through the Pearly Gates!

Born in the flesh, our noblest deeds are like filthy rags, God says (Isaiah 64:6 NIV). But we are covered by His grace, through the humble acknowledgement and earnest repentance of our sin.
By the daily practice of repentance, and recommitment of our lives to Him; God's spirit remains with us and you will see transformation.

Spend time with God in prayer, daily, as you would a dear friend. Praising, thanking, repenting, and most importantly--listening to Him.
In time, your perception and understanding of His purpose and urging in your life will sharpen.

I am no Christian so I don't know how approach this in religious way. People do mistakes all the time. But the thing to be appreciated is that you realise and regret it. That's the main thing here. People deserve second chance to undo their mistakes as you have right now. Just don't beat yourself up and keep your head straight, you'll be fine. Peace

We're all sinners, everyone of us. The only difference is that some of us chose Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and some haven't chosen Him yet.

Keep the faith...you will get out of it soon enough, if you are true believer. You are not alone.

No! God doesn't want to be around unclean people.

Everybody sins. Read Saint Paul's own comments about himself. God knows that we have faults. What He wants of us is to do our best to overcome them and repent.

I wonder how the god botherers on here will explain how it’s possible for you to sincerely ask God to reveal himself to you, yet he is failing to do so.
