On eastern vs western thoughts/philosophy [Spirituality & Religion]

Ive read on a few threads that western world is more inclined on individualism and eastern on collectivism

That’s correct. Western civilization has its flaws but it is far superior and more progressive to the East in many ways.

But it would be a huge mistake to think the west is 100% about individualism and the east is 100% collectivism..

Both cultures move between the two.. Sometimes the west leans more one way and then it leans more the other.. Things keep changing..

Yes, and no. In the West Protestant (Anglo and northern European) societies are more individualist than Catholic and Orthodox ones.
