If your a follower of Christ do you find life very painful [Spirituality & Religion]

I do . At times then I act out sin , so its painful either way but I am a believer of Christ and I do my best not to sin .
That's my problem I watch myself to much and get all tense and then sins and then hates myself from sinning cause I'm following Christ.
What's your opinion?
Life can be painful on either side. Sometimes we cause our own pain. Other times, not. It's there for a reason. Not to harm, as most believe. Not even to cause us to trip up. Think how boring life would be without challenges, which is what problems are. If we didn't have challenges, we'd never learn and grow. I use to avoid challenges at any cost, when I was younger. But now that I have matured in Christ, I can see that they are there to help, never to hurt. They help us mature in Christ and they help us learn patience, perseverance, discipline, responsibility, humbleness, gratefulness, and the list goes on. Jesus said to take up our cross and follow him. He is well worth the effort and all the answers are in the Bible, in His Word. We need not go looking for simpler answers that are not addressed in God's Word. Jesus said if any seek wisdom, ask from the Lord and He shall give it in abundance. All that he tells us in his Word is complete, and we know it is the truth. The Bible answers all our questions to life. In it there is wisdom and the security of knowing that God does not lie. That his guidance is enough. We can, however, read other things that keep us inspired but we must be careful because Satan can use those, as well. We are Christian soldiers and we are honored to be so. Challenges are there to let us know something is out of order, is not working for our good purpose, and something needs to change. Life is less painful when we live and stay close to our friend, Jesus, stay in His Word, and pray. Help does not come in the philosophies of this world. It comes in the person of Jesus.

@LadyGrace thank you very much , well put . You described how exactly I'm feeling . They say stay close to Christ but that can be confusing.
It's like the part " God why have you forsaken me "
I'm just all over the place with my religious beliefs.
Do you think prescribed medication from a doctor can be an evil tactic of Satan to stop contact with Christ or believing in him? You seem sensible.
@riseofthemachine I believe Christ never leaves us nor forsakes us. I know when I feel alone or not as close to Christ, it is because I have moved away from Him. Not the other way around. I have neglected to pray like I should or get spiritual nourishment from reading His Word. He has promised to never leave us or abandon us. He is no liar, so He keeps His promises.

Sometimes we can't help but get emotionally off balance. When we don't eat right, exercise, or take care of ourselves, our hormones naturally get unbalanced, then we suffer anxiety, anger, nervousness or depression. I don't see anything wrong at all with going to the doctor. God works through them, as well. It's nothing to be ashamed of. It happens to us all. I sure hope you feel better soon. I'm sorry you are having a hard time. I know B-12 supplements really help me. I get them from Walmart, cherry flavor... the kind you melt under your tongue. They taste great. Sublingual B-12. They are great for depression. Along with the B-complex supplements.

@riseofthemachine no lol Teaching. I'm not done learning myself...so I can not teach, definitely. I constantly discover how smart, deep and insightful other people are. I have a lot more to learn even tho I'm very happy not to be , where I was 10 years ago.

As a Christian i find life in this world and in this body and this state of mind to be a pain and a drudgery.. I am so looking forward to checking out of this stage of my existence and finally going to a real Home with a real family and a real Father..
