Do you think 'soul' is a correct concept of a human heart? [Spirituality & Religion]

It was the term used in creation to describe Adam, “living soul” in Genesis when God created him. I am not sure how one Would determine the heart and soul as equivalent terms.
The heart is more than a physical flesh pump but it describes determinations of the soul to me.

Soul has become a concept but it was not a concept. It was an experience of people who meditated that they are the awareness that observes their body and mind and named that awareness to be soul, that which was before the birth and always will be even after dissolution of the body.

Yes. In terms of love, emotional connection heart is used. Soul has been divided into three portions. Where as everything is connected to the consciousness and our mind.
