Four ways Jesus/God Almighty compares to Zeus, Thor, Shiva, and the multitude of other gods. [Spirituality & Religion]

Way #1 - Jesus has a relationship with his followers.

He communicates directly to them through His Spirit. That is, every born-again believer, receives the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of promise (of eternal life) as a free gift for accepting Jesus as their personal Savior. Ephesians 1:13 - 14

The followers of Islam and the followers of Hinduism do not claim that God can speak to them directly.

Way #2 - Almighty God Predicts the Future with 100% Accuracy

Followers of Christ, claim that the God of this universe is the One who wrote the Bible. To support such a claim, God writes in the Bible how you can know that His book is divinely inspired. This is what God says in Isaiah 41:21-23 about other gods.

“Present the case for your idols,” says the Lord.“ Let them show what they can do,” says the King of Israel. “Let them try to tell us what happened long ago, so that we may consider the evidence. Or let them tell us what the future holds, so we can know what’s going to happen. Yes, tell us what will occur in the days ahead. Then we will know you are gods." Isaiah 41:21-23

No other gods have been able to predict the future with such incredible accuracy as God 's Word, the bible.

There are hundreds of predictions about the future in the Bible (also known as prophecies). Up to this date, over 300 past prophecies have come true, and the remainder of them shall be fulfilled in the future.

God’s book, the Bible, establishes historical accuracy. For example, consider one Old Testament prophecy concerning Christ’s first coming. Micah 5:2 states that Christ would be born in Bethlehem of Judea. Micah gave his prophecy around 700 BC. Where was Christ born seven centuries later? He was born in Bethlehem of Judea, just as Micah had predicted (Luke 2:1–20; Matthew 2:1–12).

Peter Stoner, in Science Speaks (p. 100–107), has shown that coincidence in prophetic Scripture is ruled out by the science of probability. By using the laws of probability in reference to eight prophecies concerning Christ, Stoner found that the chance that any man would fulfill all eight prophecies is 1 in 10 to the 17th power. That would be 1 chance in 100,000,000,000,000,000. And that is only considering eight prophecies! Jesus fulfilled many more. There is no doubt that the Bible’s accuracy and reliability are substantiated by prophecy.

Way #3 – The Christian God is Scientifically Accurate When Others gods Are Scientifically Incorrect

In the Quran, it’s taught that the Sun sets in a muddy spring.

Many religious books have scientific errors in them, but not the Bible. Not even one contradiction, when studied correctly and in context.

Before the scientific method was ever created, the Bible revealed scientific truths that went against the popular beliefs of that time.

For example, it was long thought in the ancient world, that the earth is flat.

However, in 700 BC, the prophet Isaiah wrote in Isaiah 40:22 about God, “It is He who sits above the circle of the earth.”

How did Isaiah know that the shape of the earth is a circle, when the rest of the world thought that it was flat and shaped like a square or rectangle?

It’s because God revealed this scientific truth to the prophet.

Here’s another example of God’s scientific accuracy that went against the grain.

The ancient Greeks thought that the mythical God, Atlas, carried the earth on his shoulders.

However, God revealed the truth to the author of the book of Job in the Bible.

The author of Job writes that the earth isn’t being carried by anything or anyone.

This is what it says in Job 26:7 about God, “He stretches out the north over empty space; He hangs the earth on nothing.”

This is an amazing verse that shows that the earth is suspended in space just like modern science confirms.

This verse was written between 1500 and 500 B.C.

Way # 4 – The Christian God is Incredibly Humble

The gods of the mythical world are known for their enormous egos.

Say one wrong thing or disrespect them, and they’ll zap you into oblivion.

For example, it was believed that Zeus killed evildoers and all those who broke their oaths.

If Zeus existed, then you and I would be toast!

But that’s not the God of the Bible. The Christian God is an incredibly humble God.

This is summed up in the most basic and well-known verse of the Bible:

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16

What kind of a God would volunteer to lay down His life for those who hate Him, so that through the forgiveness of their sins, they might have eternal life in heaven?

A very humble one. His name is Jesus. He does not love sin. He loves us in spite of our sins, and He proved it.

I am sorry to say, I totally disagree with this post. The information presented is not true. I think you got false information from some where.
@SW-User Researched very carefully and thoroughly. My research is totally accurate, but that's ok. Not everyone will agree.
@SW-User Please forgive me if my article offended you in any way. I have taken out a couple findings, though my beliefs differ, that I feel may have been offensive to you. My goal was not to deem myself superior nor wiser than anyone here, but only to compare the contrasts in different cultures and belief systems without bias or prejudice. Notice I did not say one was any better than the other. I felt this would help inform others of the differences in belief systems of the world, that may not have studied them. I still stand by my research, however, as accurate, until proven otherwise.
