If you are, and you'd like to invite Jesus into your heart and life, here's how He says you can do that. He never turns anyone away.
The prayer must come from your own heart. God is not fussy about how fancy (or not) your prayer is. He concerned about the sincerity of your prayer…if you are being straight-up with Him, from your heart. He cannot be fooled.
Recognize that you have sinned against God and those sins separate you from your Father in Heaven. Invite Jesus to come into your heart and life, as your personal Savior and life-long Guide. Ask Jesus (God's son, and mediator between you and God the Father) to forgive you of your sins. Acknowledging that you are believing Him to forgive you of your sins, thank Him for doing so.
If you just prayed the sinner's prayer from your heart, Jesus says you have just been forgiven, and have inherited eternal life in heaven, God's special gift to you, for accepting Him as your Lord and Savior.
Wondering already, if He saved you? God always keeps His promises. Never forget that. We never go by feelings…we go by God's promises. He is no liar. He has forgiven all your past sins, and remembers them no more. You are starting a brand new life in Christ, and all the Angel's in Heaven are rejoicing!
Next, you will need daily spiritual food or your new Spirit shall grow weak, if neglected. [b]Read your bible.[/b] Pray daily. That's when you have fellowship with God.
