Evolution! Amazing,right? But there are creationist who deny the evidence. To them i ask: what is your BEST example of COUNTER evidence to evolution? [Spirituality & Religion]

[c=#BF0000]I've tried this out a couple of times recently but the threads have gotten bogged down in red herrings and resulted in no actual examples of counter evidence.
Probably rather telling.

Why do you have to try and convert others to your beliefs?
Some people belief that evolution is a lie and unless you were there watching all of time play out you dont actually know the truth...about anything so just keep your beliefs and chill.
Coming from someone else who also supports evolution but I dont just take what I read as fact, you need to take a step back from everything, there are many holes in evolution, we dont even know everything about it. Some people believe that aliens interbreed with earth beings and that's what makes humans so different, whose to say they are not right? Ya just dont know and you dont....scientific evidence to support claims doesnt mean we have an entire picture on anything and you dont know what science is a lie, science isnt everything and the government does come up with bullshit to deceive us, just keep an open mind, if you dont want to just dont worry about other people, we all have different views, as we should, if we didn't it would be because we are stupid
@MushroomFaerie

The reason is twofold: first and formost, i enjoy debating. That's what i do here. Some people try to make friends, some people post their kinky fetishes and i like to debate.
Secondly, this is a topic which interests me. The evidence for evolution is so rock solid that it fascinates me that people can deny it and so i am interested in discussing and debating the reasons they feel they have for this denial.
we dont even know everything about it.
Couldn't agree more.
But the fact that there are gaps in our knowledge in no way invalidates the evidence that we have gathered.
And in fact, yours is the argument i most often hear from evolution deniers: if we don't know a, b and c then evolution didn't happen and never mind about evidence x, y and z.

Keeping an open mind means being open to new evidence, not flights of fancy.
And so i make threads like these where i ask for evidence.
Have not encountered much of it to this point.

Hope that addresses your concerns🙂
@Pikachu yip, no I'm pro evolution I just understand where other people come from, I haven't always. There was a time where I would have agreed with you 100% but things just are not black and white
@MushroomFaerie

I think i understand too. In general the rejection of evolution appears to be seated in a religious world view.
It's not that they are aware of evidence which contradicts evolution, it's that they have a previously held belief that evolution must not be real.
While i'm sure they exist, i've never personally spoken to anyone whose reason for denying evolution was because there was evidence disproving it.

Why these continuous childish and petulant questions on something you know so little about? Go and actually do some reading as to why peopke don’t agree with it.
Speedyman · 70-79, M
No it’s just that you don’t want counter evidence. It’s quite obvious you don’t want to listen to anybody who gives you cancer evidence and when somebody does like I have done you won’t examine the counter evidence because it might knock you off your little perch of illusion.. now you asked for counter evidence not giving it to you and you won’t listen to it. I never asked for evidence of evolution because I’ve read a lot of it. You were the one who was asking for cancer evidence and now you turn out to be a fraud because you won’t listen to it @Pikachu
@Speedyman

Not at all, speedy.
If you yourself have watched that video (And of course you haven't) then you'll be able to present some of the arguments for us here.
I'm happy to do that with you. I just don't want to commit myself to that long of a video. you can understand that because you refuse to make the same commitment😉
because I’ve read a lot of it
Hmmm no offense but based on the kinds of questions you've asked in all apparent sincerity, that was either a lie or you read about it a long time ago.
Speedyman · 70-79, M
You said you want to counter evidence. I don’t want evidence for Darwinism. I never said I did. You were the one who said you wanted counter evidence then when it is provided want to get round seeing it on some bogus excuse. Just proves you are a fraud. You are a complete liar and a fraud. You are just not to be taken seriously@Pikachu
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
Already gave my answer to your question. There is no evidence for evolution. Never has nor ever will be evidence for evolution. None. My question to you is: when are you going to stop making excuses for it?
@GodSpeed63
Already gave my answer to your question
Yes. You did.
We disagree.
But since you are either unable or unwilling to produce evidence disproving evolution, i'm not sure what you can contribute to this thread.🤷🏻
@GodSpeed63 Do you read and follow every word of the bible?
Reverend · M
You really discussion on evolution don't you? Lol. I have been looking at some of it. Im still not well knowledged on the subject but just from what I've been reading can we agree that microevolution is definitely true but there are limits to variation that can't be crossed? Something that is pushed too far such as selective breeding. It has its limits and will eventually die out. Is that right?
@Reverend
but there are limits to variation that can't be crossed?
There are certain kinds of physical limits like the size an animal can reach. I'm not sure selective breeding is a good example of that because breeders are always breeding for variations on a similar sort of animal.
I'm not aware of any experiments where people have tried to fundamentally change an organism.
Might be fun to try though.
Reverend · M
@Pikachu Ok. Just trying to figure it out little by little. I will respond as I have other thoughts.
@Reverend

Sounds good👍
Speedyman · 70-79, M
As one who denies any evidence that doesn’t suit you who are you to talk? 🤣🤣🤣
OggggO · 36-40, M
Eww, why did they have to make Espeon one of those gross hairless breeds?
@OggggO

Gross?! I want to rub her skin folds! So cute!
