Why Life Sometimes Seems So Hard [Spirituality & Religion]

1. Sometimes we make our own troubles, by the poor choices we make.

2. It doesn't have to stay bad. It is still a matter of choice.

3. Sometimes we are tested, to see if we'll stay faithful. That tells God where our heart is. But mostly to help us learn and grow.

4. Sometimes we have trials, because that's the only way God can get our attention, to help us realize something in our life needs changing. It's simply not working, and He wants you to have a much better life and be happy! Jesus IS the life. He knows your past, present, and future, so who better to turn to for help? I don't know about you, but I want someone who knows me and can give me the very best outcome!

5. This life is not necessarily a test for the next life, but to prepare us for the next life. If we can't get along here, how are we going to get along in heaven?

6. Problems teach us patience and perseverance.

7. Problems (hopefully) help us learn and grow. And grow UP ... take responsibility for our lives.

However, make no mistake. One can never get to heaven by good deeds. You cannot earn your way to heaven, in any way, shape, or form. God says so in His Word. You get to Heaven, by having your sins forgiven by Jesus. However, Jesus doesn't want a half-hearted commitment. Just like you don't want a half-hearted commitment from the one you love. Faith, trust in Jesus to save you, repentance, and total heart commitment are the keys to heaven.

Some people say this life is Hell. That's the world's biggest understatement! Hell makes this world look like Heaven, in comparison, and even that doesn't begin to touch what Hell is a like, but not one of us need go there. We are witnessing what this world is like without Jesus, with evil in it, and just why we need Him.

People also say they'll party in Hell with their friends. Wrong again. Hell is described in God's Word, as a place of outer-darkness. That means it's so black, you could hold your hand to your nose and never be able to see it. Darker than the darkest caves on earth. Again...not even one of us need go there. That's why Jesus came. To forgive you of the sins that already condemn you. Yes, sin is the only thing that separates you from God. Let Jesus wash away your sins by His saving grace... by asking Him to. He promises to forgive, and receive you into His Heavenly family, and you'll be fit for Heaven! Just think. If Jesus didn't love us, and pay for our sins on the cross, we'd have all gone to Hell. Thank you, Jesus!
It's not, if and when you pay close attention.
@Hayman Yes, it is. We see it in the newspapers and all over the world. I had included the word "sometimes".
