An important aspect of science is being open to and even seeking out that which might disprove your theory. [Spirituality & Religion]

[image]While i am no scientist, to this end i would like to hear from you folks regarding what evidence you feel shows that evolution [c=#BF0000]didn't happen or couldn't happen[/c].

Also, if you have any questions or criticisms of evolution theory, i would be happy to address them to the best of my ability.

Yahweh has already proved Himself to be Creator of the heavens and the earth and has shown us the work of His hands so that everyone is without excuse. Evolution never happened, it would've broken every law that there is.

I already gave you that answer. If can't get it the first time around, I can't help you get the second time being that it's not that complicated to understand.

@GodSpeed63 Better than you know anything outside your religious belief.
I already gave you that answer
No you most certainly did not. You said that it is necessary because it's part of science as if this clarifies anything at all.

Imagine we're both on a debate stage. I ask you to validate your claim and explain why we must know how life began or matter originated in order to observe the way it interacts in the world.
You reply with "Because it's part of science". I then insist that you clarify your position with specifics!

What is your answer in front of our audience and the moderator?
Is it going to be "I already gave you that answer"?

Do you think you would win the debate? Yeah, i didn't think so either.
I've used this scenario to illustrate what a meaninglessly vague answer you have provided and to give you just one more chance to actually answer it.
Put aside your need to win an argument, put aside your desire to defend your faith and just answer the question honestly. You're trying to convince our audience that evolution really is impossible but right now your answer boils down essentially to "Because". I think you can do better and you'll need to in order to convince anyone reading this. That is important to you right? You want people to believe the truth as you understand it?

Now's your chance. Time to man up.

Tell me specifically why it is necessary to know hoe life began in order to observe its subsequent evolution. Not in vague terms. Be as scientific and precise as you are able.

P.S. please prove that you've actually read this entire post and not just the first line or i'll just have to repost it. You know how it works lol

Evolution leaves three big gaps unanswered
1) how did it all start? Where did all the mass come from that constitutes this massive universe?
2) where did the original life form come to evolve into so many species?
3) why did evolution stop? How come there are no partially evolved primates?

It also challenges logic that a random mass explosion could result in such a precise universe
@GJOFJ3

Excellent post, thank you.
1) how did it all start? Where did all the mass come from that constitutes this massive universe?
Evolution does not have anything to do with the origin of the universe. Evolution explains how the diversity of life on this planet came to be, not how the planet or the universe came to be so this is in fact not a criticism of evolution theory. You might as well accuse the theory of gravitation of not explaining how matter came to exist.
2) where did the original life form come to evolve into so many species?
Evolution does not explain the origin of life. Although there are certainly some experiment-based hypotheses addressing this issue.
So again, this isn't actually a criticism of evolution. We need not account for how life began in order to observe the evidence that it has since evolved.
3) why did evolution stop? How come there are no partially evolved primates?
I'm not sure where you get the impression that evolution has stopped.
What would consider to be a partially evolved primate?

What do you mean by that?

Two stones dropped at random will land precisely a certain distance apart. It doesn't prove they were placed there by some intelligent force.

@GJOFJ3
a precise universe
Precise in what way?

it is what it is. In fact, it’s precisely what it is... otherwise it’d be something else, and it would be something else just as precisely.

I think the book what Darwin got wrong would argue the points better than I could ever do it.
@SW-User

lol well assuming i'm not going to go out and read that book for the purposes of this post, can you articulate any particular issues that you found the most compelling?
SW-User
Sir, I am a certified scientist.
@SW-User

I don't mind. Peeps can refer to me however they want.

@Pikachu good gender fluid Pokémon.
@SW-User

lol well to be clear, i'm not gender fluid. I just don't find it necessary to declare my gender or orientation here. I prefer to let my arguments and opinions stand alone without being filtered through bias towards my gender.

Everyone is a scientist
@Shapeshifter

Definitely not. And i'm not a fan of people using the title in an attempt to co-opt its legitimacy.
