You can take any ideology to try to justify an unjust act. People who hold tendencies of engaging in attacks like these would do so regardless of their faith. It's just sad seeing shit like this.
Oh and context matters. I'm assuming this happened in India? (correct me if I'm wrong)
If right, India is going through very politically driven times. Their prime minister, like many others has sparked these attacks.
That's not to justify (I'm not even hindu) I just aim in seeing the whole picture because when I see things like this, if you allow it it's so easy to get caught up in the same hate that drives people to vicious attacks of such.

@JBird Are you from India? I've heard and read quite a bit on what's happening😕 Stay safe.

@NickiHijab my mother is Indian so I have to be in India with her and at a wrong time.

@JBird I meant if this took place in India. Not whether you were Hindu or not but I hear you and you're right. Majority always have the upperhand.
They were messed up as children. It wasn't about "religion" but sometimes people hide behind it...
from anyone I would consider christian
And that, i suspect is the problem.
If you DO encounter someone like that then they're not a true christian.
Which brings us right back to the no true scotsman fallacy.
Anyway, i think we've gone as far as we can here. Anything else to add?

Of course they try. But you'll agree that not managing to follow every element of christ's teaching doesn't disqualify you from being a christian.
Were that the case there wouldn't be any lol

Yep. Some Religious people do that, but not those who have a true relationship with Him.
I will never understand why people believe in supernatural things that they have never experienced. I can understand a "spiritual experience" After all a person literally experienced their own experience. But to then go and swallow the rest of the religion whole that you didn't experience is just weird.
@canusernamebemyusername Religious persuasion is a high art, like political persuasion. But as I said in the other posts its not really ABOUT religion. Its about the push and pull of human needs and satisfactions.

@Stilltryinghard It's about control.

Yeah...amazing how organized religion can spur people to cruelty when it’s supposed to do the opposite. 😞
@bijouxbroussard religion is only a thinly woven veil...
Peaches · F
@Stilltryinghard Right, it is man made after all.

You're so right! 😒The meanest people I've ever seen are religious people.💙

A group of like minded people do this. Parents are culprits in this.

It's when people inwardly know their belief is wrong that they become violently intolerant.
