Would the Bible or Koran exist if the respective authors had access to social media? [Spirituality & Religion]

Not trying to be controversial but I just wonder if the dissemination of information then was by a different technology weather either would exist.

Almost certainly not. They'd float a few ideas out there on FB or twitter and get a few thousand "Are you high?" or "Just how brain damaged are you?" comments and that would be the end of it.
@LadyGrace why do you think those holy books are "god's will?"
@SatyrService When people are born-again the Holy Spirit is received. He guides and uses God's Word to lead and guide. My Spirit knows His. He leads to all truth. I connect and feel His Spirit connect with me through His Word. He is no liar. I know I can trust Him and His Word. He cannot lie. He is perfect and His Spirit speaks to me through His Word. We are one in Spirit. I trust and believe in Him. One can only know Him by experience and proof of Him is IN that experience. It doesn't matter if no one believes me. I know Him. He has never let me down nor lead me astray in the 45 years I have known Him. He saved my daughter from dying recently and many other miracles I've seen.
@SatyrService  No one can transform the lives of men, except the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit transforms us into the image of Christ. 2 Corinthians 3:18
Absolutely. God meant for His Word to never pass away, as mentioned in scripture, and He meant it to last. Nothing in this world could, nor can, stop it, when it is His will.

Social media is only a shallow pretense of social interaction.

Pretending that social synthesis by way of artificial "contact" or that it's got actual substantive importance in the real world is silly and immature.

@SteelHands I don't disagree but then there is Trump's governance by Twitter which I don't understand.

The Bible is a collection of popular stories like the Iliad or the Odyssey.

@eMortal Just kidding. Those other so called accounts might be claiming things that at the time had only been earlier prophesied in the old testament.

The number of precise documented prophesies that were checked off by the Nazerine accounts are startlingly numerous, however. The sheer number of them combined with their implausibility are too great to overlook if you have a mere particle of belief that the apostlistic accounts did their best to be factually and historically accurate.

The Son issued a deadly warning against embellishing or omitting anything he said or did. That alone adds credibility.
@eMortal The bible was inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Greek word being "theopneustos", meaning "God-breathed", inspired by God, due to the inspiration of God. Words not entrusted to just any men, but to holy men of old, to write down under the direction and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Thank God, no one has to know how to read Greek, Hebrew, or any other language, in order to know how to be saved. Bible scholars have translated those languages, for us. Under the direction of men, yes, you're going to find spelling errors, translation errors, what have you, as man is flawed by sin, however, Jesus is without sin, perfect, and flawless. Man has tried to destroy His Word, burn it, deny it, mock it, ridicule it, yet it has survived all the way down through the ages, which in itself is a miracle, because while some papers may have been destroyed, God and His Word shall never pass away. So while we could dispute these things until we're blue in the face, let us not miss the main focus, which is how to get to heaven, because if we miss that important truth, we've missed everything. "For what shall it profit a man, if he gains the whole world, yet loses his own soul?" Mark 8:36

@LadyGrace you know God will not be mad at you if you if you ask questions. I know Thomas had been blamed for that, making critical thinking a sin to modern Christians.
Some books in the Bible were certainly inspired. We sure know some others were just folklore.
@eMortal What nonsense you speak. God is never mad when anyone asks questions. And it's not even in the bible where Jesus was mad at Thomas. It's your thinking that is critical of God, not Christian's. NONE are folklore, but if that's what you want to believe, go right ahead. Time will prove you mistaken.

Could flat earth belief or the lie of socialism grow in stature without it?

@SatyrService Taxes are the fees all we who want to live in a civilised and progressing society.

Socialism doesn't incentive a thing. Socialism couldn't exist without productive republics and democratic systems. The only things socialism ever got they either inherited from those that preceded them or beg borrowed and stole from other superior systems.

Socialism kills. The current body count is approximately 120 million. I hope you sober up and start thinking usefully for yourself before others start thinking for you without thinking of you.

Another thing. Speaking of Norway, 36th on the list of economies is decreasing at the rate of about 7% per year. It's a microscopic size economy compared to the rest of western countries. They only lost about a third of their export revenues so far so just in case you are in that country I'd advise anyone there not in the upper echelon of government, this would probably not be a bad time to consider getting out of dodge, as they say.

They wouldn't stand a chance if launched today. It's only because they began in ignorance and willfully perpetuate it that they're still popular.
