God's not concerned about what denomination we are. He just wants to have fellowship with us, on a personal basis. Through prayer, and by His grace. [Spirituality & Religion]

A mediator attempts to influence a disagreement between two parties with the goal of resolving a dispute. There is only one Mediator between mankind and God, and that is Jesus Christ. (1 Timothy 2:5)

The dispute? God has a dispute with us because of sin. Sin is described in the Bible as transgression of the law of God (1 John 3:4) and rebellion against God (Deuteronomy 9:7; Joshua 1:18). God has never hated you. He hates sin, because our sins stand between all of us and Him.

The remedy? Jesus represents before His Father, those who have placed their trust in Him before God’s throne of grace. He mediates on our behalf, when we repent of our sins, and turn from a life of sin. As totally forgiven sinners because of Jesus’ death on our behalf, we are reunited with God and inherit eternal life and fellowship with Him.

You said elsewhere you don't have a religion, but you are most definitely a Christian. Yes.
@helenS Thank you, dearest. Coming from you, that means so much. 💗

Don't agree with the initial statement. If Jesus has founded One and Only Church, He does care if we join that Church or another one.

It's not crucial, but it's not trivial, either.
