Yes I am. The Bible ripped off so many ancient religions that it’s laughable. The Ten Commandments is almost a complete copy of the Egyptian Book of The Dead. I’ll stick to my worshipping of Tiamat. She is one of the oldest known Gods, from one of the oldest known religions, which is believed to be the creation story inspiration behind most religions that followed.

Christianity even spoke of murder lol your God apparently killed so my innocent people. Christianity was also an excuse to carry out so many atrocities. Let’s not forget which religion used to kill people for being “witches”. @Carazaa

I sure hope my unsaved friend on here doesn't read this message because he will feel so upset about being called ignorant for not reading his bible. You did say only the ignorant dismiss their Bible. That's not very loving and could turn people away.

@Carazaa yes I know they are and I didn't feel that this helped. I don't sugarcoat it either but harsh words turn people away from Christ and that's what we have to avoid. Jesus taught about salvation in a very loving way . He didn't come down on people and I don't mean that as meaning you are. a lot here are very sensitive .

You can find a lot more articles about anything you want to prove. But I know that God saved me and He is amazing to me, and I have had an amazing life, where God showed himself to me over and over with answering my prayers more than I ever expected!.

@ISpeakTheTruth I have read it, dumbass. The Bible is full of untruths written by Iron Age people who did not understand how the world or the universe worked.

@ISpeakTheTruth There's no real science in the Bible because it was written before the Age of Reason. The scientific method didn't exists yet, nor did hypotheses, observable or quantifiable test results.

Some of my closest mentors in graduate school were deeply committed Christians. Across a range of denominations. Roman Catholic, Greek Orthodox, Mormon, Lutheran, evangelical. Never got the sense once that science and faith were irreconcilable. And that is across a variety of institutions and disciplines.

I go to a Christian uni myself.

However, there are things which the Bible presupposes that are ignorant, such as the existence of free will and using that concept as a basis for the Christian belief system.

Take that scientifically informed understanding and square it with the idea that God punished Adam and Eve for disobeying him, for choosing to sin, even though they didn't have the freedom to choose otherwise. Their actions were predetermined and Adam and Eve did not author their actions that led to them being at odds with God.
