Which Christian God is the REAL GOD? [Spirituality & Religion]

They call "him" by the same name, but "he" is given different characters in the different traditions and different denominations and within a single church, members disagree amongst themselves of "his" character.

What is "his" character? What are "his" rules? Is "he' strict like the strict parent purports or not so strict as the not so strict parent purports?

I contend that since "he" is given different characters, therefore they are worshiping a different God, but only same in name only.

In other slightly different words, I contend that since THEY are given different characters, therefore different Christians are worshipping different Gods.

The differences are in quality, not just quantity.

Christianity is not one God worshipped by people of different views. Christianity as a whole has many Gods.
Being you are from another culture, you may not understand the way Christians believe here. We only have one God and that's all we worship is one God. We don't want anyone to be confused about that.
With all your accusations in your post it sounds like you are trying to confuse people about who Christians are. None of those things you've claims are true. Please get your facts straight.
Well. It's a little fishy. We start by saying God is beyond all categories and concepts and it utterly unknowable except beyond the intellect through faith. Then we talk about God as if he's a guy sitting across us at the table, and we claim to have perfect crystal clear knowledge of his innermost thoughts and desires. Which strangely are all our own anxieties and neuroses. All so obviously projection.
@CopperCicada this! 👍

There can only be one God, in name and being. So, some Christians may believe in a different "god", but this is a false god if it's not the God of the Scriptures.

As an institution, sure, Christianity surely bears many untruths and heresies. But this does not make those untruths and heresies Christianity.

I just follow Jesus Christ. To me Christainity is not really a religion but Christianity is usually recognized as a Religion since there's no symbolic.

Cross can be a symbol but it's a remembrance of Jesus's sacrifice for our sins.

Now there is Yahweh which is from the old testament.

There is only one true God, and yes some people get totally the wrong idea of Him and who He really is. That's not God's fault it's the fault of those who can't be bothered getting to know Him

@TheWildEcho Praise God! Thank you!

In Genesis the name Elohim is used for God. Hebrew words ending in -im are plural. Which suggests the creation myth has come from an older polytheistic religion.

I like Spinoza's conception of God: Everything. Nature basically. Everything that has or will exist (and all ideas and thoughts ever had too). God/nature is totally indifferent to good and evil, if God was good he'd be bound to something bigger than himself.

You’re right. So many denominations. So many different perspectives. So many different versions of “God speaking to them”. Religion was created to calm peoples’ fear of an uncertain world, that is all.

God has many names, and is certainly able to understand the heart and intent of the believer, so I think your worrying is unfounded
