Institutional church is unbiblical [Spirituality & Religion]

The institutional church is not Biblical. Ask me if you want to kno why I am saying that.
NeloAngelo · 26-30, M
considering everything that is biblical i don't think being institutional is the worst thing they ignored
NeloAngelo · 26-30, M
@TruthfulSpeaker while i agree the church as an institution has no place in politics or schools. the institutionalisation of the church and subsequent reforms are arguably the only truly good things about the church.

anyone who bases there morals solely on the bible has issues.
TruthfulSpeaker · 51-55, M
@NeloAngelo I respectfully disagree. God never intended His people to institutionalize.

So? The church nowadays as flawed as it is now is better than the church of the biblical times. Women aren't being burned at the stake for example
And yet solitary religious practice is unbiblical. And home churches are unbiblical.

Forgive my ignorance but what is institutional church?
purplepen · 51-55, F
Yes there a plenty of differences. A lot of churches are really trying though.

Martin Luther, YOU"RE on SW now???
TruthfulSpeaker · 51-55, M
@firefall Not Martin Luther. He's been dead for over 500 years. What I am is someone who wants to spread the truth to others.
firefall · 61-69, M
@TruthfulSpeaker yeah, I was just trying to point out this has been declaimed for at least 500 years (Possibly 1600+ years, depending how you read the Arian heresy in the 5th century).

Not that it's wrong, or anything.
