Which of the 40,000 gods humans have worshipped does it point to and how do you know it's that god?

I pleased to inform you that part of the actual work of historians it to separate the truth from the BS in historical documents a lot of which were written to serve propaganda purposes. The bible generally does not figure into and serious research due to its numerous inaccuracies.@Speedyman

Pleased to inform you that among ancient historical documents the New Testament is the best attested of all. You obviously have no idea of what you are talking about as the New Testament has been written about more than any other historical book. Ignorant peopke like yourself swallow garbage that it is full of inaccuracies but informed people do not. You really need to get some education and stop writing BS yourself. @redredred

@Speedyman You got that right, Speedyman.

There are at least 2500 factual errors in the bible and the exodus timeline is off by about 100 years. There is absolutely no evidence of a population living in the area described as the fourty years in the wilderness. You might enjoy the fantasy that the bible is some valuable document but its simply the residue of ignorant scribblings by a tribe whoe biggest accomplishment was genocide of neighboring tribes.
Cool fiction though.@Speedyman

okay, which of the two conflicting Eve-origin stories to you accept and what about the other version? Does the sun circle the earth the way it does in Joshua? Are bats birds as it says in Leviticus and where are those four-legged winged creatures?
Do you want more? Oh, and please dont try to tell me those statements are just figurative because then I'm going to tell you the whole silly stinking mess is figurative dreamed up by a wandering tribe of uneducated shepherds.@Speedyman

You love ignorance, don't you. There are not two conflicting Eve irigin stories apart from in the imagination of your ignorant atheist websites. Nowhere in Joshua does it say the sun goes round the earth any more than we do when we say 'the sun rises in the east and sets in the west'. Only a oerverted literalist like yourself would assume the Leviticus thinks bats are birds. The reason they are classified with the birds is because they are flying creatures. You are the sort who completely miss the pint with your stupid nit picking. It is so irritating to anyone with the intelligence of more than an ant. As for uneducated shepherds - whatever their education they had a lot more sense than you and your rather pathetic pseudo-intellectuals who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel @redredred

I'm nit answering points raised by srupid websites which gave no understanding of context. In any case you have just put a link to a bogus website run by an idiot which I can't get into anyway. Try thinking for yourself before you raise objections and we might get somewhere. @redredred

No I don't because they are only there in the tiny minds of people who see things which aren't there. I have spent some of my time in journalism and know that two different reports of the same event are not necessarily inconsistent they are just different . If you actually had a brain on your head you would know that@redredred

Actually in an open letter to the Corinthians Paul says he can name 500 witnesses to the resurrection who people can talk to most of whom are still alive although some have died. We are not just dealing with the odd report we are dealing with many reports . Your problem is your lack of understanding both of journalistic methods and also of history. Historians are inclined to believe things as facts on far less evidence than that presented in the new Testament@redredred
