@hippyjoe1955 Actually, it shows how little you know about either Humanism or history. The biggest mass-murderers in history have historically been extremely anti-humanist. Mao Zedong, Joseph Stalin, Adolf Hitler, Hirohito, Leopold II, etcetera etcetera all took extreme actions against human rights, basic facts, and religious freedom, which is one of the most anti-Humanism activities one can possibly partake in. Hitler, in particular, has been known to question the relevance of truth itself, and some of the most ghastly ideologies in human history, including Manifest Destiny and Western Imperialism relied on the idea that humans have no real agency, which is the exact opposite of Humanism on a very fundamental level.
