You ever sat down [Spirituality & Religion]

And thought about all the things God keeps doing for you and just want to cry?

[c=#BF0080]Well I have[/c]

He saved me from self distraction. If it wasn't for Him I'd have succeeded in taking my life and would probably be burning in hell for all eternity. Now I've gotten to know Him and found peace in my life and no one can take that away from me because Jehovah-jireh gave it to me.

I'm trying my best to please Him too and I know with time I'll get it right.

Praise be to Yahweh

@AnonymousJSS I don't know what you were expecting to hear but I told you what I was told to tell you. Maybe you should try to read and understand that instead. Or you could read the Bible
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@karysma I don't know...maybe some logical and scientific evidence that God is real?
I went to church for many years when I was little, and I did read the bible. Complete nonsense and waste of time, no matter how much I tried to "understand" it.
karysma · 31-35, F
@AnonymousJSS I used to read the Bible and not understand myself maybe become I was younger and immature but I went through the toughest of times and when I was tired of trying to do it myself I asked God to reveal Himself to me and He did and I'm just amazed at the revelation

No. I believe God is a fictional character people made up back in the days to accept their misery.
Btw, I’ve noticed a lot of people who suffered, suddenly found God in their lives and got better. The same process is happening. Your miserable, you use a fictional character to keep hope, you get better and you think it’s God who blessed you.
Well i'm happy to hear that you found a reason to keep on going but no, i don't think about the things god does for me because i don't believe he's doing a damn thing.
If he exists then he's chosen not to reveal himself to me.

I was once in a pretty bad place myself. At that time i asked god for help.....nothing.

@Pikachu you are alive. That's something to be thankful for. Remember someone has it worse out there

You were once? Now your not? Praise God for delivering you. He answered your prayer.

God has revealed Himself to man kind many o' time but man failed to recognize Him as God.

I did, when I was a christian, but I discovered it was nothing, my achievements were my own. That revelation allowed me to experience true peace and happiness.

I'm pleased your way worked for you, it didn't for me.
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@karysma How can you be sure and what make you think mine isn't? I can say, with equal validity, that my happiness is greater than yours. :)
karysma · 31-35, F
@suzie1960 I think you're only saying that to prove a point but there's one that is all knowing that we both can't hide our true feelings from. He's the only one who's opinion matters
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@karysma I think exactly the same about your claims. The fact is, I know how happy I am just as you know how happy you are. We don't know nor can judge each other's level of happiness. I don't know whose opinion you're referring to but, in respect of how I feel, my opinion is the only one that matters.

Nah, life's to short!
karysma · 31-35, F
@Harriet03 Like I said [c=#BF0080]Freedom of expression[/c]

Not to be rude but if it bothers you that's not my problem
Harriet03 · 41-45, F
@karysma It bothers me when Religous people, tell everybody how we should live our lives! Though shalt not do this, though shalt not do that etc!!
Indoctrinating kids..
karysma · 31-35, F
@Harriet03 I don't seem to recall telling anybody how to live their lives. No need to get so worked up about this

In away yes in away no , but I 💯 respect your opinion, and I’m so grateful that you haven’t ended your life. Keep on fighting , you deserve the best.
karysma · 31-35, F
@SW-User Thank you 🙂

@suzie1960 You don't need [c=#BF0080]me[/c] to believe you right
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@karysma That's right, you can believe whatever you wish. I'll stick to what I know.
karysma · 31-35, F
@suzie1960 at least we agree on something
