Whose truth?
BlueVeins · 22-25
@SW-User I have a long memory, but I'll do my best. ❤️ Happy Valentine's Day!
@BlueVeins

Well what about stuff like god? Not necessarily physical but either true or not true.
No way to physically verify it.
But my truth could be that he exists and your truth could be that he doesn't.
So whose truth should we be going on?
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Pikachu Not to be pedantic, but there is an objective truth regarding the existence/non-existence of god. It's true that our conceptions of that objective truth are, in themselves, subjective, but we can use those subjective opinions to somewhat account for the truth. As to whose truth you should be going on, I would argue that you should not go off of another's perceptions. We should instead use indirect evidence to attempt to reconstruct objective truth, and do what we will with that reconstruction.

It’s important although often subjective.
