One of my closest colleagues is a Muslim and her ongoing report about the treatment she gets from people who have the same accent as her and the same mindset is distressing. Equally, her tolerance of it and willingness to laugh about it is quite inspiring.

I haven’t experienced that at all. If anything it’s the continued racism towards Muslims that I see regularly.

Racism works both ways, Muslims here especially in this neighbourhood are steadily becoming more outwardly racist

@Miram it can go both ways but the amount of racist incidents by Muslims is rising. And I was speaking to a woman today who got shouted at and racially abused because her son dropped his unopened can of pop in the taxi and the taxi driver had to help to get it.
