Finding the truth... [Spirituality & Religion]

So I learned that celebrating Christmas is really not a celebration of anything real and may even be inappropriate for me (not judging anyone else). And, tbh my first reaction is I'm mostly happy about finding out the truth. My only apprehension is it seems to isolate me further from society and I thought I was trying to "fit in" more. So... a bit more confusion,

You're talking about how the date really has nothing to do with Jesus' birth? I think most people know that so you're really separated any more. It's just the date that the church chose to celebrate his birth because there were no records to show the actual date.

@SW-User Well, you see I edge the lawn like this, and then I scrape away the clippings to give it that nice precision look. Say, what type of fertilizer do you use and what value do you set the spreader. Your lawn sure looks nice, except for that one spot in the back that no one can see. I would use some WD-40 on that. A few applications.. about 3.3 in my estimation should take care of it. Yup.., a mighty fine lawn. Say, did I ever tell you about my lawn 3 summers back? Hold on, I think I have pictures...

@MartinTheFirst Yeah, I realize that now and accept it. Honestly, i didn't know before. But, it does seem like it's isolating.
