@Pherick
You just asked her to comment about living in a fantasy world with imaginary friends, when she very clearly told you she doesn't believe in them.
Neither do I. I believe in the one true God, Yahweh, who lives forever.

Doesnt matter if christians took christmas from pagans. Its our holiday now and Jesus is celebrated every year in christmas so dont turn the celebration of Jesus into a pagan money making ritual!

Can't you do any better than you have been? You sound like spoiled brat throwing a tantrum here. Were you spoiled when you were growing up?

Christianity stole from Pagans to get more followers actually.
Hence His December 25th birth and a Christmas tree. 🤔
As true Christians, we should act Christ-like everyday.

@Peaceful Amen to that!!
Are you not familiar with the history of Yule? Ancient people's have celebrated a version of it long before the Jews even existed as a people, let alone their Messiah mythology.
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
The birth of chirst was not on the day of christmas, and christmas was never christian. It has always been a pagan ritual and then christianity adopted it.
If you want to remember Jesus, then remember the day he died for our sins. Remember the bread and wine.

@MartinTheFirst You need to remember, brother, that the Romans were not particularly nice guys where countries who resisted them were concerned. What better time for Jesus to be born than in the darkest days of the year?
MartinTheFirst · 22-25, M
@GodSpeed63 A government, if possible, wouldn't anger their people without reason. While not being nice, they were not stupid
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@MartinTheFirst You're right, they we'ren't stupid but they knew how to treat their captives with excellent cruelty. They were masters at it.
