I read in other religious texts where Hinduism is mentioned as religion of demons and people should follow their religions by giving up hindu religion. The one which they are calling demonic is purest. Hinduism is very much philosophically ahead. In hinduism, we believe that there is God in each of us. We are one. Actually hinduism is eternal way life.It is more practical than religious. In Hinduism, we have a freedom to express ourselves. We must morally correct from our side. Individual is free to follow his/her own path in hinduism even if he/she doesn't believe in God. You are free to do debate in hinduism. Actual name of Hinduism is sanatan dharma which translates as eternal way of life. Here dharma means way of life. Do good deeds is one of the teaching of hinduism. As a hindu, I respect all other religions and I will never disrespect any other's religion.

When the Vedic knowledge first reached western universities, the intellectual elite there were deeply impressed. Prominent personalities like Voltaire, Mark Twain, Schopenhauer, the Schlegel brothers, Paul Deussen and many others spoke in glowing terms about India’s tradition. And even later, in the early 20th century scientists like Heisenberg, Schroedinger, Oppenheimer, Pauli, Einstein or Tesla were in their research inspired by Vedanta and acknowledged it. Voltaire had praised the Vedas as the greatest gift for humanity. He even said “we are eternally indebted to India”.

There was real danger that the Church would lose her sheep as the Christian view of the ‘true’ God, who sits in heaven, is jealous of other gods and sends all those who are not baptized into eternal hellfire, was no match for the Indian concept of Brahman which is the one conscious essence in all forms, like the one ocean is the essence in all the waves.

Of course the Church was not keen on losing even more power. It had lost already due to people like Voltaire who fought against the Church’s unreasonable dogmas.

It surely wanted to put an end to this praise of India’s great civilization. And the strategy was simple and time-tested:

@LoneKnight i wish hinduism should establish as a motivation for those who seek pure knowledge about themselves and universe. It is more than just a religion, it is a way of life.

@DesiDudeJ04 I wish every Hindu knows the real version of Hinduism instead of believing in the version that was tempered by Christian colonizers.

There is newly revived Vedic nation in India.

In that nation Vedic gurukul education systems that was destroyed by Christian colonizers are being revived by Swami Nityananda.
