This one's kind of boring... just the usual creationist pap that atheists are angry and bitter, and then suddenly some or other magical entity makes them content and happy (nothing that a lobotomy couldn't do just as well).

There are a couple of plot holes... e.g. what is it in atheism that one would 'embrace'., and what does evolution have to do with atheism?

A while ago you spammed this site with a video clip about "10 scientific facts from the bible", or some such thing. I was looking forward to driving a bus through that nonsense, but then I became a bit busy, and now I can't find it. Could you post that spam again so that I can respond to it? It looked like it'd be fun.

Maybe, but it's the truth.

@GodSpeed63 About what... some actor saying 'I changed my mind'? Wow!

It's lies that you've been speaking rob people of their hope that the one true God so richly gave them. It's a wonder why we have so many suicides and killings in this country and other countries. Man's organized religion does that also.

They can't stand the fact that Atheists can be happy without their magical entity.

Yea, that's why they keep blowing their brains out.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2 Atheists are in large part anti intellectual. Their religion forbids thinking.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@suzie1960Yes indeed. It seems to baffle them that I'm an atheist, content with my life, at one with the world, altruistic, philanthropic, optimistic, and have abiding peace of mind.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@hippyjoe1955
Their religion forbids thinking
and what are the tenets, dogma, and practices of that 'religion'?
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2 You are a prime example. Look in the mirror.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@hippyjoe1955 So, you don't know? Well, that's to be expected.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2 You are completely incapable of doing any introspection.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2 Please, don't give him any reason to think you're dumber than mud. It's never a good idea.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@GodSpeed63 She thinks she is magic mud. I rest my case.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@hippyjoe1955 So I suppose you don't like the version of the myth that says 'And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life'. Can everyone just rip that page out? Of course, perhaps this version is correct and the other version is incorrect.
Or do you have yet a third version to offer? After all, you seem to have some sort of fixation on the dust version, but with 'just add water' as an addendum
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2 Did you notice my belief has Causation? Yours is an impossible accident. Nice try.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@hippyjoe1955Your unsupported claim lacks causality... which makes any talk of causation irrelevant.

I know I've taught you about this before (and more than once), but I'm quite happy to do so again, if you feel it will help the lesson to stick.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2 Sorry your thinking is skewed. Nice try though. Try again sometime.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@hippyjoe1955 So, it wouldn't help you to retain the lesson? Oh well, perhaps next time.
hippyjoe1955 · 61-69, M
@newjaninev2 When you think you have a lesson to offer - you are mistaken. Magic mud has no lessons to offer. Discussion is pointless since mud is just mud.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@hippyjoe1955 So you're not inclined o add water to the biblical dust? Or do you opt for the alternative version?
@hippyjoe1955
She believes in us having a monkey’s uncle and/or “ET phone home” as Adam’s origin.

It is a waste of time arguing because she will run away when stuck just like in the “Big Bang” discussion. She doesn’t even use the correct scientific terms. 🤭
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@Aliveshock For example?

Perhaps Cosmic Background Microwave radiation?

Or perhaps the Hydrogen-Helium Ratio?

Is that why you refused to discuss those?

Aren't you the one who denied the expansion of the universe? I rather suspect you were confounding the inflationary epoch and the subsequent (and current) expansion... but surely not!
@newjaninev2
You didn’t learn from your last butt whooping?
