God is NEVER dead! He LIVES! [Spirituality & Religion]

Nonsense, it doesn't even exist.
Bushranger · 70-79, M
@GodSpeed63 No problem. I'll look at them soon.
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
Enjoy them.

@GodSpeed63 Ok, I watched the first one all the way through, the second one seemed to be pretty much a repeat of the first. The third one did my head in and I couldn't get through it. Didn't take a lot of googling to find contradictions to most of the statements in the first half of the video.

But, back to the first one. It doesn't take a conversion to Christianity to change one's life for the better. His description of his attitudes and behaviour was similar to my own. I'm no longer that person, but I still don't believe in God. It is, in my opinion, a poor attempt to soften up his audience so that they more readily believe his following statements. Also, he claimed that he believed that everything should be verified. Unfortunately, most of his verification appeared to come from his original source document. While he cited what he claimed to be external sources, they appeared to not be so.

Sorry, but doesn't convince me. Especially the opening spiel in the first video. It actually made me less inclined to believe him, because I felt that he was claiming that only through a belief in God and acceptance of the crucifixion, could one make positive changes. Sorry, but I'm living proof that that is not a necessary factor.

Lol where? In your imagination?
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
If you and colleagues are going to state what you think is facts, please do so without the abuse. It makes you look stupid. Okay?
Speedyman · 70-79, M
You need to present your evidence. You have denied something that the vast majority of people in this world believe in - ie a deity of some sorts. Therefore it is up to you to present proof of his absence. Of course, we know you cannot do that so we just expect another outburst r@suzie1960
suzie1960 · 61-69, F
@Speedyman You have it all wrong. As the analogy of Russell's Teapot showed, as the one claiming something exists, you need to present your evidence. Without that your claim is worthless. The vat majority of the people in the world do not believe in your god. Some may believe in a deity, such as Santa Claus or The Flying Spaghetti Monster (quite a fast growing religion I understand), but that's not the same thing at all.

Now you and I, along with many others know you have no evidence to support your claim, you just refuse to admit it. If you had evidence, a "trained scientist" as you claim to be would not hesitate to present it. You'd get a Nobel Prize for that so it makes no sense to conceal it.

1. As Jesus himself said, 'You are ignorant of the scriptures and the power of God.' In that you are a typical atheist.
2. I have already recommended a good book to you but I cannot read it for you .
3. You obviously do not know yourself that you are a pretty ignorant fellow about the things you are trying to talk about . I don't know whether you are ignorant in other areas but you are certainly ignorant in this area . Again a typical atheist who likes to parade his ignorance

@Speedyman You repeatedly demonstrate your irrationality and ignorance of the things you keep babbling on about. A typical christian.

Yes they will all live until Ragnarök
People have a right to their beliefs as long as they don’t use them to oppress others. My parents are people of faith, too, and I respect them. 🕊

I am glad you have faith and are delighted to believe in him. 😁
GodSpeed63 · 61-69, M
It doesn't work that way. You become a 'Devout Christian' after you read and study God's Word, not before you read it. When I read God's Word, I allow His Holy Spirit to explain the Scriptures to me so that I can interpret His Word with accuracy. All you did was read with contempt. Something else made you fall away from the truth.
